The
Health Unit Coordinator
facilitates unit operations and assists with all clerical duties on the patient unit, including greeting patients and visitors as they arrive. Coordinates the communication between nursing staff, physicians, other departments, professional staff, patients, and families relating to patient care.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a health care setting
Keyboard skills
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Acquires and maintains skills necessary for role
Principles of effective communication
Knowledge of data entry systemsAbility to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Effective organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Must be available the first week of employment for HUC orientations that takes place Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM
