Responsibilities

Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high‑quality patient care.

Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.

Capture high‑quality cardiac images.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital radiology department.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA‑approved school or a BS/AA degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA‑approved school.

Cross‑training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography required.

ARRT National License required.

CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.

Certification in one modality required.

AHA BLS required.

AHA ACLS (must obtain within 90 days of start date).

Fire Safety card required (must obtain within 90 days of start date).

Pay Range $40.50 – $50.42 per hour.

Location The position is located at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a 394‑bed acute care nonprofit community hospital in Northridge, California.
