Job Summary Radiology Technician I responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high‑quality patient care, and maintaining imaging equipment and records.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including X‑ray and fluoroscopy.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality control standards.
Analyze images for technical quality and identify any potential issues.
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital/acute care setting or completion of a full rotation within the last year.
Formal radiological technology training in an AMA‑approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology from an AMA‑approved school.
License required as issued by ARRT (national) and CRT (state), with Fluoroscopy certification required.
AHA BLS certification required.
LA City Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.
Pay Range $40.50 - $50.42 /hour
Collective Bargaining Agreement This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
