We are looking for a qualified Patient Accounts Specialist to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals. The Patient Account Specialist's responsibilities will include verifying patient eligibility and benefits, financial counseling with patients, upfront cash collections and claim follow up with commercial and governmental insurance companies.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30 miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40 miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Not only do you have the abundance of activities along the Atlantic shore, but Titusville also offers an ideal climate, close proximity to multiple dining and shopping options, and a very friendly community.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; College coursework in Business practices preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care collections or related field, or any combination of education, training, or experience in a health care business office environment required. Experience with insurance billing, computer and business software programs (Microsoft Excel) preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in key entry, basic computer skills, and navigating in Windows-based software.
