Palm Point is currently recruiting for a Nursing Supervisor for our day shift. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee all unit activities including, but not limited to, admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and or seclusion, Baker Acts, relieving for break or meals. The Nurse Supervisor manages the Nurses and Mental Health Techs working on the units as part of the nursing team, administers prescribed medications and provides medication for the nursing staff when the Pharmacy is closed. The Nurse Supervisor will coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely. The Nursing Supervisor has the authority to make staffing changes as necessary.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30 miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40 miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Current AHA BLS Certification required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
Requires five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
