Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Manager II, Water Purification
to lead the operation and regulatory compliance of multiple complex wastewater treatment systems at the Juda facility. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally sound water purification practices while maintaining compliance with all WDNR and EPA regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep technical knowledge of wastewater operations, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and the local community. What you need to be considered for the role: 2 Year / Associate Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or other related field required. Minimum of six (6) years of related work experience required, preferably in a food manufacturing industry. Have knowledge of the mechanical, biological, chemical and disposal processes involved in the operation of the treatment facility. Have knowledge of the mechanical, chemical, and biological operation of a digester system. Ability to make sound decisions regarding the operation of plant processes and equipment with a high degree of judgment. Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational decisions or adjustments. Demonstrated leadership ability including ability to effectively speak and present information and respond to questions. Strong math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to comprehend technical instructions/policies/procedures in written, verbal, or diagram form. Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or other related field required. Training and/or experience in management/leadership preferred. Certifications & Areas of Expertise:
Biological Solids/Sludge Handling, Processing & Reuse Biological Treatment: Anaerobic Treatment of Liquid Waste Biological Treatment: Suspended Growth Process Laboratory Procedures & Analysis Nutrient Removal: Total Phosphorus Solids Separation Techniques
