Looking for part time nurse/counselor to join our Saturday and Wednesday evening team. 12-18 hours and room to grow for more hours.

Essential Job Functions: Patient Counseling & Education

Conduct one‑on‑one consultations to assess patient needs and develop customized nutrition and wellness plans.

Deliver motivational, uplifting guidance that helps patients make lasting behavior and lifestyle changes.

Monitor progress, identify challenges, and adjust care plans under provider supervision.

Consult regularly with on‑site providers to seek guidance for patients with more complex medical conditions or challenging complications.

Defer to providers for direct medical oversight of patients whose nutrition plan or customized program requires additional clinical input.

Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification for long‑term weight management success.

Conduct follow‑up calls to discuss progress, answer questions, and provide ongoing encouragement.

Clinical Support

Obtain and record patient vitals, prepare laboratory order forms, and ensure timely follow‑up on results.

Assist the physician or provider with patient referrals and other clinical tasks as needed.

Maintain accuracy and compliance with all clinical policies, EMR documentation, and patient confidentiality standards.

Administrative & Operational Support

Perform follow‑up calls and administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Support clinic operations, including inventory management and scheduling as needed.

Participate in marketing efforts, patient referral initiatives, and community outreach to promote the Medi‑Weightloss brand.

Train and mentor new team members on daily procedures, patient engagement, and clinical best practices.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Health Education, or related field preferred.

Active BLS Certification.

Previous experience in patient counseling, health coaching, or a clinical setting preferred.

Strong foundation in nutrition, exercise, and behavior change principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems preferred.

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and integrity in all interactions.

Salary $28–$35/hour
