Research Support Assistant
Job #2504080 – Full‑time, non‑exempt appointment eligible for $4,000 annual location pay paid biweekly. No visa sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities
Prepare media and maintain tissue culture stocks along with common reagents (proteins, DNA, RNA).
Maintain laboratory inventory, equipment, and order reagents as needed.
Assist with ongoing experiments and projects.
Document all procedures and maintain scientific records.
Participate in lab meetings and provide training or mentorship to undergraduates, graduate students, and other staff.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Execute additional duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) and laboratory experience in molecular biology or a related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in the life sciences with experience in protein purification, cloning, PCR, and other molecular biology assays.
