Overview The Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship seeks part‑time lecturers to teach courses in Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Strategic Management in the BS/BA and MBA programs. Only applicants applying to a single department will be considered for that department.
Responsibilities Part‑time lecturers will provide instruction, prepare classes, grade coursework, and hold office hours. Additional duties may be assigned based on departmental needs. Course assignments, dates, times, and modality are determined by the Department Chair under the direction of the College Dean.
Appointment Appointments are conditional based on enrollment and budget, initially for one semester (occasionally an academic year). Renewed based on department needs, funding, and performance.
Required Qualifications
MBA or equivalent, or JD for law‑related courses.
Availability to teach and hold office hours face‑to‑face; 45 min per week per 3‑unit course.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
Five years related work experience.
Rank and Salary Initial rank is Lecturer A or B. Current ranges (July 2024) for Lecturer A: $5,507 per 15 WTUs. Example: 3 units → $5,507 × (3/15) = $1,101.40 per check, 6 checks → $6,608.40 per semester.
