Job Description
Program Associate – Colorectal Surgery (250003A6) – The Program Associate performs administrative and secretarial responsibilities to support the manager and other staff members in a challenging and fast‑paced work environment. Responsibilities include communication and coordination with all levels of internal and external customers, receiving and screening calls, correspondence and/or visitors, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing correspondence, documents and reports as needed. The role performs duties of a confidential nature and works under general guidance and supervision.
Qualifications Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Minimum Work Experience : 1 year related experience (Required). Experience with searching databases (preferred).
Required Skills/Knowledge :
Excellent analytical skills
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Functional Accountabilities Administrative Support
Manage day-to-day administrative functions for designated Program such as organizing and maintaining department files and records, performing complex clerical duties and analytics, supply and equipment orders, etc.
Assist with all levels of internal and external customers, receive and screen calls, correspondence and/or visitors, make travel and meeting arrangements as needed.
Serve as a communication link to other CNHS departments, e.g., coordinate and schedule office appointments, meetings, and conferences.
Independently research, develop, and compose presentation materials and speeches in a variety of settings.
Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; determine potential courses of action and develop appropriate solutions.
Program Coordination
Routinely coordinate and facilitate solutions with internal and external organizations and constituents.
Maintain designated Program finances such as government reports, charge sheets, and contact with charge entry professionals.
Safety
Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance.
Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation.
Stop in the face of uncertainty and take time to resolve the situation.
Demonstrate accurate, clear and timely verbal and written communication.
