Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse) , you will provide safe, therapeutic care while enjoying a supportive environment and premium night shift rates.
Position Overview – Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse) The
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
is accountable for resident care from admission through discharge in collaboration with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary team. As a
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse) , you will deliver direct clinical care, supervise Nursing Assistants, and help ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night.
Responsibilities of Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident’s plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants as the
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse) .
Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly notify the physician and appropriate team members of any change.
Ensure accurate, timely documentation and follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards as a
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse) .
Support a calm, organized, and resident-centered environment during night hours.
Mandatory Qualifications – Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Current, unencumbered, active Ohio
RN (Registered Nurse)
license or valid multistate license, and current CPR certification.
Prior experience in long-term care as an
RN (Registered Nurse)
strongly preferred.
Skills and Qualities – Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
The
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements for long-term care.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong critical thinking abilities.
Ability for the
Night Shift RN (Registered Nurse)
to work tactfully and professionally with interdisciplinary staff, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills in a busy clinical environment.
