Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan, assess patient data, and interpret information to identify each patient's age‑specific needs.
Plan for provision of patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards, as described in Patient Care policies and procedures.
Adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Oklahoma RN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
