Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate psychotherapy groups tailored to client needs, including CBT, DBT, trauma‑focused, psychoeducational, and support groups.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate group goals into clients' comprehensive treatment plans.
Implement evidence‑based interventions to promote mental health, coping skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with OMH regulations and clinic policies.
Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
Monitor group dynamics and adjust interventions to enhance engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Qualifications
Must have a master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health field and have an active license as a LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT.
Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate therapy groups for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, or adults, based on the organization’s needs.
Works effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing case consultations and progress updates.
Experience in documenting sessions, treatment planning, and maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards.
