Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.
Responsibilities
Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Care for obstetric and high-risk OB patients
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Uses Epic EMR system
Responsibilities include the full spectrum of inpatient L&D nursing care
High-risk OB experience is preferred
All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials are not accepted
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Traveler may not exceed two consecutive years of assignment without a 90-day break as per HR tenure policy
Requirements
Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery experience
Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
Preferred: BSN degree or related field
Preferred: Five or more years of recent (within the last 2 years) L&D experience
Preferred: At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
