Shift:
Day shift; 3 / 12 hr shifts; every other weekend; PRN available.

Essential Functions
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
Provide nursing care within the scope of nursing practice as defined by state regulations and facility policies.
Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed appropriately.
Assess patients’ status continuously and document pertinent information.
Notify physicians of significant changes in status such as difficulties with detox, medical emergencies, or medication response.
Complete nursing treatment plans upon admission, specific to assessed needs.
Apply universal precautions in patient care.
Accurately administer medications per ordered notes.
Document controlled substance medication administration.
Process admission and discharge efficiently and accurately.
Establish therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as directed.
Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co‑workers, and others involved in inpatient treatment.
Education & Requirements
Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or eligible to practice in accordance with state requirements.
One year of nursing experience; prior psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience is a plus.
CPR, de‑escalation, and restraint certification required (training provided upon hire).
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
