Additional Information About The Role
Unit – Memorial Shiloh Nursery IIE Shift – PRN, Day and Night Shifts Schedule – Three shifts per six‑week cycle Compensation – Competitive Pay (see Career Ladder information) Benefits – BSN Differential, Shift Differential, up to 40 hours of paid time off each year Role Purpose
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities
Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, post‑treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and participates in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members and the patient, family or caregiver, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care; assesses patient preferences and barriers to care. Maintains a constant state of alertness and promotes a safe environment; this is a safety‑sensitive position. Minimum Requirements
Education – Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Experience – No experience required Supervisor Experience – No experience required License & Certification – RN Preferred Requirements
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Experience – 1+ years in NICU / Special Care Nursery Benefits and Legal Statement
