Step into a vital role where your imaging skills make a life‑saving difference! The Sonographer I Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic scans. Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Perform scans in the acute setting in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room. Qualifications
ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire. Minimum of one year of experience in sonography. 2‑year associate degree or higher preferred; graduate of an ARRT‑approved radiography or sonography program, or CAAHEP‑recognized sonography program (required). • NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty (RT(S) or ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
