Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is the guardian of The Ben’s physical environment, ensuring every system, fixture, and space operates flawlessly to support the hotel’s luxury experience. You lead by example, guiding your team to perform preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and proactive inspections, all while fostering a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues alike. This is a role for a hands‑on leader who thrives on problem‑solving, mentoring, and delivering excellence behind the scenes, keeping the property running seamlessly day and night.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

Inspire and mentor the maintenance team, encouraging each member to reach their full potential.

Lead with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism.

Provide guidance and support for team members’ growth and well‑being.

Maintenance & Operations

Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all equipment, systems, and facilities remain in top condition.

Assist the Chief Engineer with building, grounds, and capital improvement projects.

Conduct preventative maintenance checks and maintain safety and operational standards.

Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and issues with courtesy and professionalism.

Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and follow all emergency and safety protocols.

Technical Skills & Compliance

Maintain basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.

Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.

Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, proactive approach.

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.

Reliable, team‑oriented, and customer‑focused with a positive attitude.

Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
