Nursing Home Cook
– Full‑time – Day shift – $17.50/hr – Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, North Easton, MA.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve therapeutic diets and standard recipes.
Maintain proper food temperature, portion control and visual appeal.
Adhere to sanitation, storage policies and safety procedures.
Assist with dining service operations and follow manager’s assignment.
Requirements
Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
Independent decision‑making ability.
Professional interaction with residents, families and staff.
Knowledge of hospital and nursing home dining service regulations.
Leadership skills and supervisory willingness.
Patience, tact and enthusiasm to handle residents appropriately.
Qualifications One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or related medical facility preferred; training provided.
