Job Description and Position Requirements The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture shop seeks to hire numerous students throughout the academic year for part‑time positions. These positions will assist the general shop full‑time staff.
Required Experience
Operating shop machinery such as:
Table Saws
Band Saws
Miter Saws
Drill Presses
Sanders
Thorough knowledge of shop safety practices and ability to communicate with others.
Primary Duties Include
Cleanup and emptying of dust collection bins
Light machine maintenance with cleaning and waxing machine tables
Assisting others with machine usage
Designing and/or building small projects in the Stuckeman Building
Campus Security Crime Statistics Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
