Responsibilities
Providing compassionate, specialized nursing care to patients experiencing behavioral health crises in the emergency department
Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Educating patients and families on treatment plans and safety measures
Skills Needed
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of behavioral health protocols and emergency care
