Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) - East Paulding Pediatrics
Wellstar Health System invites applications for the Registered Nurse Supervisor role in East Paulding Pediatrics.
Job Summary Under the general direction of the physician and/or office manager, the RN Supervisor provides nursing care, supervises departmental staff, and ensures effective nursing services in alignment with policies, standards and regulations.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an environment that supports professional nurses and staff.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee bedside nursing care for pediatric patients.
Lead and support survey readiness efforts and back‑office clinical operations.
Promote clinical competency and maintain clinical quality control.
Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and unlicensed staff.
Participate in evidence‑based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, high‑quality patient care.
Ensure documentation and compliance with Wellstar Clinical Champion Forum policies.
Qualifications
Licensure: RN – Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN – Multi‑state Compact.
BLS or BLS‑I – Basic Life Support (Instructor) certification.
Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, evidence‑based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Required Minimum Education
Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Required Minimum License
RN – Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN – Multi‑state Compact.
Required Minimum Experience
Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse; supervisory experience preferred.
Required Minimum Skills
Knowledge of national nursing standards and healthcare procedures.
Interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with staff, providers, and patients.
Attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.
Team building, delegation, and leadership abilities.
Basic computer and technology skills to support clinical care.
