Job Summary:
To perform various non‑invasive vascular examinations in order to assess for vascular disease. Operation of ultrasound equipment including two‑dimensional imaging, Pulsed Doppler and Color Flow Doppler. To educate and prepare the patient for the exam, maintain vascular accreditation requirements and, when necessary, assist with invasive vascular procedures.
Qualifications:
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) required.
At least six months experience preferred.
Considerable skill in performing various vascular ultrasound examinations.
Ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations are introduced.
Ongoing participation in continuing education.
Ability to work closely with physicians and ancillary staff.
