Summary:
Monday through Friday, daytime hours with flexible start and end times to create work/life balance
Full-time and Part-time positions available in Harrisburg and Lebanon
Essential Responsibilities:
Practical understanding of substance use disorders as well as a practical understanding of the process of substance use disorder recovery
Ability to effectively conduct therapeutic, goal‑directed treatment sessions with individuals
Ability to facilitate groups, including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Early Recovery
Knowledge of and an ability to complete all required record‑keeping documentation
Practical understanding of the State and Federal Confidentiality laws and regulations governing the SUD treatment programs in the state of Pennsylvania
Acquisition of 25 hours of DDAP approved training per year
Cognizant of MAT services
Familiarity with and an ability to collaborate with local recovery support services
Practical understanding of the SAMHSA Guiding Principles of Recovery
Attendance at all mandatory and scheduled training, supervisions, and staff meetings
Report to SUD Facility Director on a regular basis to ensure consistency and quality of care
Maintain professional boundaries and behavior, as specified by the Ponessa Behavioral Health Code of Ethics/Conduct and the PCP Code of Ethics, during interactions with all staff and clients
Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Addiction Counseling, Community Counseling, Community Psychology, Criminal Justice, Health/Human Services, Marriage & Family Therapy, Music Therapy, Pastoral Ministries or Studies, Sociology, and any other acceptable degree defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs.
A minimum of one year of uninterrupted experience in a licensed drug and alcohol setting; preferably outpatient level of care.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
PA Licensed: LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT
CADC or CAADC Certification
If you do not have a license or certification, you must actively be working on obtaining it within 3-5 years of employment.
DDAP Trainings: Must be completed within 1 year from the date of hire

$48,000.00‑$50,000.00 – PA licensed annual salary range (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
$45,000.00 – Annual salary range for non‑licensed
Part‑time: (Based on length of therapy session)
$40.00 per hour – PA Licensed (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
$34.00 per hour – non‑licensed
