PRN RN Days 12 hour Shift

Essential Functions
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
Deliver nursing care within state regulations, facility policies, and corporate procedures.
Ensure physicians’ orders are legible or transcribed appropriately.
Continuously assess patients’ status and document pertinent information.
Notify physicians of significant changes such as detox difficulties or medical emergencies.
Complete initial nursing treatment plans upon admission, tailored to assessed needs.
Apply universal precautions in direct patient care.
Accurately administer medications per ordered notes.
Document controlled substance administration counts accurately.
Process admissions and discharges efficiently and accurately.
Maintain therapeutic rapport while respecting boundaries and detachment.
Coordinate unit activities as directed.
Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license required by the state or be eligible to practice.
One year of nursing experience; psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance use experience is a plus.
CPR and de‑escalation and restraint certification required (training available on hire).
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
