Position starts August 10, 2026. Funding is for 1 year with continuation based on need, performance, and funding availability.
Summary The position is a generalist psychologist role focusing on individual and group psychotherapy, phone triage, initial consultations, outreach, and urgent clinical services. Clinicians provide trauma‑informed, healing‑centered care to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group psychotherapy to students.
Conduct phone triage and initial consultations.
Engage in outreach and consultation with campus stakeholders.
Perform urgent triage, assessment, follow‑up, and stabilization services.
Maintain supervised clinical hours for licensure and acquire advanced generalist training.
Adhere to trauma‑informed care and healing‑centered principles.
Qualifications
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
One‑year, full‑time doctoral internship in health‑service psychology.
APA‑accredited training or internship required.
Preferred: Counseling center experience.
