Job Summary Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services at partner hospitals in Rochester, New York. The role supports clinical teams and delivers high quality sonographic images for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic viability.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results; communicate findings to physicians and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments.
Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and at least 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$1,242 - $1,402 per week (based on 10‑hour shifts, 20 hours per week). Estimated weekly payment may include taxable wages and tax‑free meal, housing, and incidentals reimbursements (details upon recruitment).
