Summary
The Marketing Manager at Grand Hyatt Washington plays a vital role in developing content for a variety of mediums (print, digital, social, etc.), managing reputation and social channels, creating/supporting marketing, PR and sales messaging, while enhancing brand equity and community stature. Previous marketing experience is strongly preferred. This person will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Oversee and execute current and upcoming marketing strategy in partnership with Field Marketing to promote hotel renovation, inclusive of new meeting spaces and restaurant concept, Oribu
Manage content and promotion for hotel websites and OTAs, third parties such as CVENT, Expedia, Yelp!, Google and others, directly and indirectly; assist with managing vendor partners to maximize efficiency and revenue productivity of sites
Develop and maintain all hotel creative assets, collateral, and promotional material, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, signage, menus, image libraries, logos and related
Assist in the creation and ongoing execution of hotel media plans, including copywriting, advertising placement, hotel listings, property visits, online and print fulfillment, and advertising requests
Directly and indirectly manage agency partners to ensure marketing spend, targeting, content, and campaign creative is in alignment with hotel/brand/ownership goals and budget
Organize and develop all hotel media opportunities, including photo/video shoots, on property media like in-room TV channels or hotel wayfinding, and brand sharing ideas for in-house groups or community partners
Work with property teams to create, administrate, and analyze marketing investments and budgets
Ongoing monitoring of social and reputation channels in line with brand standards; manage review response and inbound messaging as appropriate; curate online dialogue with key partners
Champion social media strategy and content for all aspects of the hotel
Superior communication skills, including the ability to tell a story, present persuasively, and translate media tactics to stakeholders
Proficiency and command of online social, reputation management, paid media, and crisis management
Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the Hotel
Ability to maintain a resilient, positive attitude that projects engagement, respect, and warmth
Drive hotel pride, brand, service integrity, and product quality always
The salary range for this position is $70,600 to $97,000.

Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand management within the hospitality industry preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
Skilled in full-funnel strategy tactics and multi-channel campaigns
Proven ability to develop and execute impactful social marketing strategies and work with others in the development of wider-reaching goals
Creative thinker with a sharp eye for brand storytelling and visual identity
Highly organized, proactive, analytical, and results-driven
Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, collaborative environments
Experience working with agencies, media partners, and influencers
Strong creative skills with a proven ability to create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms
Experience in responding on behalf of a business to comments, developing discussions, and fostering a positive online community
Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization, including a strong understanding of social media best practices and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in managing a third-party digital agency to implement paid media strategy
Proficiency in print and digital production
