Compensation: $1,700‑$1,866 per week for a 12‑week contract at a Lawrenceville, GA hospital. 10‑hour shifts, full 40‑hour week. 40 hours per week, 10‑hour days, 13‑week duration, 13‑week contract with possibility to extend, AM shifts available. 12‑week contract, possibility to extend.
Job Description Supplemental Health Care (SHC) is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography services at a Lawrenceville, GA facility. The position is a travel assignment, 13 weeks, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and review images to ensure diagnostic quality.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging findings, communicate a summary to physicians, and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.
Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
American Heart Association BLS, 2 years of recent relevant experience.
