Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, ensuring high‑quality images for diagnostic use. Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate findings to physicians, and alert them to urgent conditions. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain the exam, and educate them throughout the session. Review patient medical histories, record imaging results in the patient record, and coordinate care with various departments. Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy. American Heart Association BLS or equivalent basic life support certification. Compensation & Benefits
