Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited university with an MA or M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA and the state board.
SLP holds a current license and/or registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in‑state as applicable.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech‑therapy evaluations per MD orders.
Document findings on standardized formats accurately and in accordance with guidelines.
Provide a comprehensive treatment plan with goals, frequency, duration, modalities, and interventions.
Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
Provide comprehensive treatment to patients using modalities and modifying patient treatment as indicated, adhering to precautions.
