Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Pay Rate Hourly. Pay grade: Health-28. Sign on bonus: $30,000.

Work Hours/Shift 36 weekly hours (3 twelve‑hour shifts per week, 7 a‑7 p or 7 p‑7 a, every other weekend).

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).

Registered nurse license with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross).

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors or outdoors, working from elevated areas, confined spaces, kneeling positions, bending, twisting, squatting; ability to reach overhead, perform repetitive motions, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; maintain vision, hearing, and tactile senses; ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, latex safe environment.

Benefits $30,000 sign‑on bonus, hourly pay, health benefits provided by MUHA.
