Base pay range $17.50/hr - $23.88/hr
Additional Information About The Role BJC HealthCare is seeking a Certification Coordinator to join our team on a PRN, as needed basis. This individual will support nurses by working the fax line, uploading faxes to patient charts in EPIC, monitoring a voicemail box, sending messages to payors and nurses, and looking up information in insurance portals. They will also attach faxes in EPIC and manage insurance authorizations through online portals.
Schedule: PRN - as needed.
Hours are Monday‑Friday 8‑4:30 M‑F. Must be able to work at least one shift per pay period.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose
The Certification Coordinator works in coordination with other departmental and hospital staff to ensure reimbursement for care rendered, facilitates certification with external and on‑site reviewers, and resolves payment discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Ensure third‑party authorization for patients.
Collaborate with the Patient Accounts department regarding insurance information.
Provide support to the Care Coordination Department.
Minimum Requirements Education
High School Diploma or GED
