Candidates must be located within the state of Missouri.****JOB SUMMARY:** The Environmental Specialist I will be responsible for writing Phase 1 ESAs (Environmental Site Assessments) and conducting ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials), LBP (Lead-Based Paint), and Radon inspections. The Environmental Specialist I position will also complete fieldwork related to the collection of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and mold samples. If the employee does not already have ACM, LBP, or Radon professional licensure, they will be expected to obtain licensure within the first year of employment.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:* Conduct research, complete reviews, and compile reports* Site visits to complete field sampling, data collection, field equipment operation, and other field activities associated with environmental projects* With support and guidance from Senior Environmental Specialists, works independently on projects ranging from small to medium and assists senior staff on larger projects* Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings* Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership* Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures**OTHER DUTIES:** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
