Responsibilities
Support SolidWorks design for various product lines, sustaining, and R&D
Utilize Windchill or PDM programs for engineering documentation
Collaborate with Design Managers to meet deadlines for new product development
Document processes and create bills of materials (BOM)
Ensure designs meet specifications and standards
Verify design calculations and check designs for accuracy and ease of serviceability
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Designer
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Experience in industrial design, injection molding, and component manufacturing.
Creative and able to develop new designs or improve existing ones
Capable of creating and improving standards, drawing lists, and bills of materials
This position is fully in-person with some flexibility in the future for work from home options.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 – $52.00/hr.
