Position Overview We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver with strong technical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience in manufacturing processes and 3D modeling.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to produce cost-effective, high-quality products
Support production and customer teams by troubleshooting build issues and providing technical expertise
Create, audit, and refine detailed 3D models and 2D drawings
Construct BIM models and photo-realistic renders
Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience
3D Modeling Expertise: Demonstrable experience required
Preferred: Creo, ProE (Pro/Engineer)
Considered: SolidWorks, Inventor
Additional Software Experience (Preferred):
AutoCAD, Revit, Windchill
Strong analytical, mechanical troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and multitask with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Committed to continuous learning and professional development
Education & Background
Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Experience in the plumbing or manufacturing industry
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing
Minimum 4 years using 3D modeling software
Additional Requirements
Local applicants only – relocation assistance is not provided
Must be able to work on-site at our Indianapolis facility
Pay: From $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Paid Time Off: Sick days and paid holidays
Insurance: Life insurance and short-term disability (Vision & Dental available; Medical insurance not provided )
Retirement: 401(k) with profit-sharing
