› CNC Setup Machinist / Team Lead – Aerospace Machining# CNC Setup Machinist / Team Lead – Aerospace MachiningJackson, MI FULL TIME $25–$30/hour## Position SummaryWe’re seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist / Team Lead to oversee setup and production of precision aerospace components. This is a key first-shift position for a self-starter who takes pride in their craft, thrives in a team environment, and can lead by example on the shop floor.## Schedule**Work Schedule:** Monday–Friday, first shift, with rotating Saturday schedule as needed.**Expected hours:** 49–55 per week---*People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.*### Responsibilities* Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for high-precision parts* Install and adjust fixtures, tooling, and attachments for each job* Retrieve, edit, and input CNC programs (G-code, Mazatrol, or similar)* Troubleshoot and adjust offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain quality and efficiency* Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)* Interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T requirements* Lead and train junior machinists, ensuring consistency and safety across operations* Maintain clean, organized workstations and uphold all safety and quality standards### Qualifications* 3+ years of CNC setup and operation experience (mills and/or lathes)* Strong understanding of G-Code and machine controls* Familiarity with Mazatrol a plus* Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills* Leadership experience or desire to mentor others* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship* Knowledge of various materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, etc.)### Benefits* Paid holidays and vacation* Health insurance* Dental insurance* Life insurance* Disability insurance* 401(k) retirement plan×## Apply for CNC Setup Machinist / Team Lead – Aerospace Machining #J-18808-Ljbffr
