Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
to join our full-time rehab team. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in delivering high-quality therapy services to residents to help improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore physical function.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans as established by the Physical Therapist.
Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with resident care plans.
Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques to aid recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current and valid PTA license in the state of Arkansas.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting preferred but not required.
