Registered Nurse RN Perioperative 36 Hour - Jackson
This is primarily a weekend position with 1 weekday included. Weekend hours are 7am - 7:30pm and weekday hours are 6am - 6:30pm. 1 holiday per year - no on-call. Candidate Preferences
Minimum of 1 year inpatient experience Prior Periop experience highly preferred EPIC experience BLS/ACLS/PALS Approximately 44 bed Periop unit - 16 OR rooms Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Education and Experience Required
BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certifications and Licenses Required
