West Allis Medical Center is a level 4 Trauma, Primary Stroke, Geriatric Certified Emergency Department that averages around 42,000 visits per year. Staff provide care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing the following: acute trauma with injury, acute illnesses, and exacerbations of chronic health care conditions, women's health issues, and behavioral health concerns. Patient populations includes: acute trauma with injury, acute illnesses, and exacerbations of chronic health care conditions, Women's health, and behavioral health in highly supported hospital system. Partner with a highly skilled team of Emergency Medicine Physicians who build strong relationships with the nursing staff as part of a collaborative team.
Develop and expand your practice with the following:
Robust orientation to support successful transition to role.
Obtain ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification.

Coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education Required:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
Experience Required:
One year RN experience preferred or candidates with prior emergency medical services health care experience.
