Job Summary: The Colorado Psychiatry Solutions (previously Colorado Recovery Solutions) Psychiatrist evaluates patients to determine the possible causes of disordered behavior, evaluates if a patient could benefit from medication or medication changes, and explains the advanced medical therapies we offer. They prescribe psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. The Colorado Psychiatry Solutions Psychiatrist closely observes their patients’ progress to determine the impact of different treatments and make adjustments. A path to partnership may become available if a board-certified psychiatrist demonstrates loyalty, longevity, high-level professionalism, business acumen, and devotion to continually refining integrative and interventional psychiatry.
Detailed partnership responsibilities are not included in this job description but are available for serious inquiries. Compensation: $500,000 total potential annual earnings Scope of Duties: Essential Functions Patient Care
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments using various methods, such as interviewing the patient, their family, or others. Diagnose mental health conditions. Develop tailored treatment plans according to the patient’s needs and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder. Treat patients using psychotherapeutic methods and medication, monitoring the effects of any medication and adjusting treatment where necessary. Order and interpret labs for diagnostic support, treatment decisions, and medical clearance. Prescribe and interpret pharmacogenomic testing and cognitive assessments. Prescribe and supervise ketamine infusions, Spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy. Collaboration and Supervision
Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including Primary Care Physicians. Supervise mid-level providers (NP or PA). Teach basic psychiatry principles to all levels of staff to enhance high-quality patient care. Clinical supervision for physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and master-level therapists. Participate as a collaborating physician for physician assistant collaborative agreements. Advocate for patient treatment by participating in insurance-required peer reviews. Participate in internal peer review. Coordinate and supervise TMS training for internal staff.
CRS will provide TMS training for inexperienced physicians. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate patient records, completed and signed within 48 business hours after clinical encounters. Document treatment details, lifestyle changes, and medication or supplements prescribed. Follow ethical and legal standards in all practices. Holistic Approach
Employ a holistic treatment approach that considers medical comorbidities, lifestyle, nutrition, and family systems. Avoid or minimize controlled substance prescriptions. Professional Development
