Lincoln Memorial University
The Clinical coordinator at the Cedar Bluff site will assist with securing and nurturing ASN and BSN clinical sites. In addition, the Clinical coordinator assists in the placement of FNP and FPMHNP students with clinical preceptors. This position plays a supportive role in strengthening the Universitys efforts to provide quality educational support to promote the success of students enrolled in the ASN , BSN , FNP and FPMHNP programs. The primary function is to successfully place students in clinical placement.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing and an unencumbered Tennessee RN license. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively to a variety of constituents. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing and an unencumbered Tennessee RN license. Experience working with students in higher education. Duties
Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large. Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students. Maintains relationship with all clinical facilities for all programs. Manages TCPS onboarding of students. Obtain clinical spots for ASN, BSN, FNP and FPMHNP students. Assist with contacting clinical supervisors and submitting pay. Assist with the orientation of students to the preceptor clinical experience. Assist with gathering of data for reports, coordinating with faculty, and payment of preceptor. Complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the advancement of the University and its programs. Work closely with faculty at all sites. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of clinical preceptors and opportunities for ASN, BSN, FNP and FPMHNP students. Ensure agency contracts are active. Perform other duties as necessary.
