Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate nursing associates to ensure efficient and effective resident care.
Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans, with particular attention to wound care management and resident education.
Monitor and maintain compliance with nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
Provide direct resident care as needed, including administering medications, treatments, and wound care procedures.
Facilitate communication between residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Conduct associate training, performance evaluations, and support professional development initiatives.
Manage documentation and reporting to ensure accuracy and confidentiality in resident records.
Qualifications
A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
Experience in a long-term living facility, but not required.
Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and making quick decisions.
Can foster good resident and family relationships.
Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
A passion for working with elderly residents in a caring, compassionate manner.
