We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer – OB/GYN) to perform high-quality gynecological and obstetrical sonograms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OB/GYN imaging, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to deliver accurate diagnostic results in an outpatient clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound examinations, including transabdominal and endovaginal scanning.
Identify and document normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy.
Conduct fetal anatomy assessments, biophysical profiles, and evaluate fetal anomalies (including ectopic pregnancies).
Apply appropriate measurement techniques across all three trimesters of pregnancy.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while maintaining professional communication.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to quality assurance and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience.
Proficiency in gynecological and obstetrical sonography techniques.
Strong knowledge of pelvic and fetal anatomy, sonographic measurement standards, and diagnostic protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Experience with advanced OB/GYN imaging techniques.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Certifications (if any)
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
