Job Description Summary

Hours Per Week 24-48 hours per every 6‑week schedule, depending on the tier you choose.
Scheduled Work Hours / Shift 12‑hour shifts
Minimum Training and Education Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Certifications Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors and outdoors, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, from kneeling positions, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, fine and gross manual manipulation, reaching overhead and in all directions; lift and carry 50 lb. unassisted and lift 25 lb. overhead; exert up to 50 lb. of force; maintain 20/40 vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and hearing acuity with or without correction; cope with stressful situations, rotating shifts, overtime, latex‑safe environments, and respirator use. Continuous demands for most abilities; frequent for others; infrequent for additional conditions.
