Advanced Vascular Technologist
Location:
Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, Stevens Point, WI
We are looking for an advanced vascular technologist to perform complex vascular ultrasound and vein specialty procedures while exercising professional judgment in diagnostics and image analysis.
Hours:
Full‑Time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours each pay period, Monday–Friday, varied hours between 7 a.m.–5 p.m.
Responsibilities The Advanced Vascular Technologist performs complex vascular ultrasound and vein specialty procedures, obtaining high quality diagnostic images, analyzing findings, and exercising professional judgment.
Experience & Qualifications
Knowledge of standards and procedures as related to ultrasound, normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CCI.
Additional training in venous specialty procedures such as sclerotherapy, thrombectomy, etc.
At least two years of clinical vascular ultrasound experience.
ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS certification.
Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
