Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Admissions Nurse NHC HealthCare Lexington | Full Time Join Our Team! NHC HealthCare Garden City is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Admissions Nurse. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters our care.
Position Summary:
As the Admissions Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for new patients entering our facility. Your primary responsibilities include:
Completing pre-admission screenings and providing a thorough medical assessment
Collecting and documenting each patient’s medical history
Ensuring all required forms, insurance information, and paperwork are complete and accurate
Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support a smooth and efficient admission process
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN license
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
