## **MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (3rd Shift) - HOOPESTON, IL.*** ## Target Salary = $90,000## **OVERVIEW:**The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain product quality and safety standards.Plan and prioritize maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment inspections, to minimize production interruptions and downtime. Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance tasks and ensure minimal impact on production schedules. Provide regular reports to the Maintenance Manager on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and adherence to maintenance schedules and KPIs. Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with preventive maintenance programs, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance practices. Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours.* ***L is Learning***.
