Job Overview:
The Adult Sports Site Supervisor is a part‑time position with the primary responsibility of on‑site supervision of adult sport programs. These programs will include Slow Pitch Softball, Pickleball, and Volleyball. Programs will be at two sites, with Softball games at Prairie Point Community Park, and Pickleball and Volleyball games at Thompson Jr. High School. The Site Managers oversee all the aspects of game sites and supervision of staff, patrons, and players.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
On‑site supervision of staff, participants, program, and program areas
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, participants and spectators
Demonstrate the ability to control all aspects of the program in which you are supervising
Ability to positively deal with conflicts and issues that may arise
Assist in maintaining field and park upkeep
Ensure program areas and participants are safe
Attend staff trainings and meetings
Exhibit responsibility and diligence when following closing procedures of program areas
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent decision‑making and organizational skills
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Have a reasonable knowledge of sports and the specific rules and regulations that pertain to each sport in which you will be officiating
Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with the stated values of the park district
