Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg / Telemetry – Rochester, NY
Pay:
$1,900 to $2,000 per week

Nights – 3 days x 12 hours

Seeking an experienced
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse
to provide high-quality patient care on a fast‑paced MS/Tele unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, and experience managing a diverse patient population during night shift operations.
First‑time travelers accepted.
Scheduling & Charting
Shift:
Nights, 7p–7a (4x12‑hour shifts)
Contract length:
13 weeks
Charting system:
EPIC (experience required)
Weekends:
Every other weekend
Holiday requirement:
Every other holiday, if needed
RTO: Must be submitted at time of profile
Call‑off policy: Up to
three
shifts may be canceled during contract
Unit Details
Ratios:
1:5 to 1:7
Must have worked in
acute care within the past 6 months
MS/Tele unit assigned at time of offer
Scrubs:
Navy blue and white combinations
Floating: Required within skill set
Licensing & Certifications
Active New York RN license required
(no pending licenses accepted; NY is not compact)
BLS required
Charge Nurse experience required
Required Clinical Skills
Cardiac monitoring & emergency response
Dysrhythmia recognition/management
Rapid Response/Code team activation
IV therapy & phlebotomy
Peripheral line care/management
Oxygen therapy
Nasal cannula, tanks, non‑invasive airway management
Isolation precautions
